The Perfect Hard Boiled Egg

I can remember being a newlywed, frantically calling my mother asking her how to hard boil eggs. I had promised to take macaroni salad to a potluck and I was clueless where to begin with hard boiled eggs.

Fast forward five years, and I have 100% perfected the art of making hard boiled eggs. Now, they are a staple in my weekly meal plan. They are the perfect snack and an amazing protein source.

Ingredients:
Eggs!!!

Directions:

  1. Place the desired number of eggs into a pot.
  2. Cover the eggs with water.
  3. place on stove and bring the water to a boil.
  4. Once the water has reached a boil, turn the heat OFF or remove pot from heat.
  5. Cover with a lid for 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes, transfer eggs into a bowl of cold water.
  7. Enjoy! :)
For easy peeling, peel your eggs under cold, running water.
